2nd Annual SJ Women's March #resist

On Saturday, January 20, Phoenix Hair Salon closed its doors for the day, as we joined a gathering of roughly 20,000 people in DTSJ for the 2nd annual local Women's March, with over 1 million attending marches globally.

I believe what we all noticed most was diversity. Women, men and children of every race, religion, economic background and sexual orientation all marching for their individual reasons, but united in their resistance. The energy of the crowd was so beautifully powerful and palpable. All the girls found the experience more emotional than anticipated, brought to tears a few times. Not by the eloquent words of some dynamic speaker, which there were, but simply by being present in that space, feeling that energy.
